Our Caterpillar DPF Delete Kit is a plug and play device that eliminates the emission from the engine in a fully safe and non-invasive way.

The installation of our CAT DPF Delete Kit is based on original connectors, so the plugs from our device match the ones on the machine.
This is not a reprogramming device, which means it’s fully reversible, and no computer is required in the installation process of our CAT DPF Delete Kit.

CAT DPF+SCR/DEF Delete Kit

Caterpillar DEF Delete Kit – this is a version of our Caterpillar Delete Kit meant for engines and machines equipped with both Diesel Particulate Filter and the DEF tank.

The installation of our CAT DEF Delete Kit is quick and easy. Plug and Play technology allows a non-invasive connection with the use of original, matching plugs. Installing our CAT DEF Delete Kit means you can drain the DEF tank and our device will indicate the fluid is still in the tank.

Our DPF and DEF Bypass Kit is safe to the engine and unlike with Caterpillar DPF delete software no programming or computer is necessary in the installation process.

CAT DPF DELETE KIT

Caterpillar DPF Delete Kit – this emulator fits Caterpillar engines equipped with just the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) but without the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR/DEF), essentially machines without the DEF tank.

Plug and Play installation provides a non-invasive installation method which is fully safe to the engine.

Our CAT DPF Bypass Kit is plugged instead of the machine’s sensors. This means that the sensors themselves are all emulated digitally and no longer physically required.

Frequently asked questions

How does the emulator installation and DPF removal work?

Installation of the CAT DPF Delete Kit is non-invasive, this is achieved thanks to the original plugs that the emulator is equipped with. The plugs match the ones from the machine. CAT DPF filter removal with the help of our emulator is fully safe to the engine and does not require any interference with the engine controller whatsoever. After installing the device, the diesel particulate filter must be removed. As our device works as a bypass it is not required to program anything or even use a computer as our CAT DPF bypass kit is not the same as as Caterpillar DPF delete software.

How does the installation of the emulator and removal of DPF and SCR work?

Similarly to the installation in machines with just the DPF the emulator must be connected using the plugs which the device is equipped with. Then disconnect the DEF pump controller and disconnect the nitrogen oxide sensors. Connect the emulators plug in the place of one of the NOx sensors, A detailed manual with a complete description of service steps is included in each order.

How does DPF regeneration work after filter removal?

The emulator simulates the operation of an efficiently working emission reduction system. The engine controller does not activate DPF regeneration because the signals generated by the emulator reports that the diesel particulate filter is in perfect condition.

Should I continue to add DEF (AdBlue) fluid?

No. The DEF/SCR pump no longer pumps the fluid. Refilling it is not necessary.

My machine has been diagnosed with a defective temparature sensor. Can I install this product?

Yes! Any sensor that monitor the operation of the DPF system becomes obsolete after installing the device, so the sensors can remain damaged or be removed completely. CAT DPF Delete Kit will fully replace the defective sensors.

Will I need to reprogram or tune the ECU after installation?

No. There is no need for reprogramming and no computer required to install the kit. The CAT emulator is mimicking the original DPF and/or DEF signals so that the ECU thinks they’re original. CAT DPF Delete Kit does not require reprogramming.

Once the installation is completed the only thing to do to go back to original is to disconnect the device and hook the original sensors back up.  

Can I install the kit myself or do I need a professional mechanic?

The CAT DPF Delete Kit comes with detailed instructions and is possible to install by anyone with basic technical or mechanical knowledge. All thanks to the plug-and-play system. Should any questions arise we have a tech support channel where our technicians are ready to assist in the installation. 

Will fuel consumption improve after the delete?

Yes. The fuel efficiency will drastically improve. Reduced consumption of fuel necessary to burn the soot away from the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) is the main reason behind the greatly improved fuel efficiency. Reduced downtime and no emission system maintenance are two other factors. 

Does the delete kit affect the excavator’s sound or exhaust appearance?

The difference in sound will occur however it will be barely noticeable. More robust and deeper tone is to be expected but as aforementioned it will not be a drastic change but a very slight difference. It is normal and expected to happen. CAT DPF Delete Kit will affect the sound only slightly.

Yes. We have a tech support channel available in between 8AM to – 4PM EDT (Monday to Friday), that will be waiting to assist you in any way necessary to install our device. Our team will assist you with any technical questions regarding CAT DPF Delete Kit, troubleshooting and optimization of our device.

Volvo DPF+SCR / DEF Delete Kit – this version of our Volvo delete kit is meant for the machines and engines equipped with both the DPF (diesel particulate filter) and the SCR/DEF (diesel exhaust fluid). After the installation of our device it is no longer required to add DEF/AdBlue. The fluid from the tank can be drained and our Volvo DEF delete kit will still indicate that the tank is filled with the fluid. The device is fully safe to the engine and can be installed in machines with faulty sensors. The installation process is the same as with our Volvo DPF delete kit, the ACM plug has to be fixed with our device.

How does the installation of the emulator and removal of DPF and SCR work?

Similarly to the installation in machines with just the DPF the emulator must be connected using the plugs which the device is equipped with. Then disconnect the DEF pump controller and disconnect the nitrogen oxide sensors. Connect the emulators plug in the place of one of the NOx sensors, A detailed manual with a complete description of service steps is included in each order.

How does DPF regeneration work after filter removal?

The emulator simulates the operation of an efficiently working emission reduction system. The engine controller does not activate DPF regeneration because the signals generated by the emulator reports that the diesel particulate filter is in perfect condition.

Should I continue to add DEF (AdBlue) fluid?

No. The DEF/SCR pump no longer pumps the fluid. Refilling it is not necessary.

My machine has been diagnosed with a defective temparature sensor. Can I install this product?

Yes! Any sensor that monitor the operation of the DPF system becomes obsolete after installing the device, so the sensors can remain damaged or be removed completely.

An emulator is a plug and play device that replaces the physical emission system with a virtual one. It sends the ECU (engine control unit) the exact same signals a fully functioning system does, thus tricking the ECU into thinking that the system is fully operational and no more problems with the systems occur. Emission emulator was our original idea nearly 15 years ago.
